My story

　　This pretty red-head is Maple! Pictures simply can not capture he stunning mahogany coat. She resembles an Irish Setter and her sweet, demure personality is impossbile to resist! While she has settled nicely into her foster home and is very comfortable with the dogs, cats, kids and adults, she is shy in new situations and will do best with someone who understands shy dogs.  Maple gets along wonderfully with all the various animals in her foster home and is such a love!~ She was born on the Navajo reservation and saved by a local rescue just as the owner was walking into the shelter to relinquish her and her sisters. The shelter said the entire litter would be euthanized upon intake because they didn't have any space. We are so glad we saved Maple!

　　While she is definitely a true-blue mixed breed pup, she appears to have a good amount of Retriever in her. Her estimated age is around 5.5 to 6 months and weighs 22-25 lbs so she will likely be a small / medium size adult.
