My story

　　Hello there! My name is Maple! I'm a classy pooch with lots of energy and I have puppy eyes that always say "I'm innocent!" My caregivers don't know much about my past, but that's okay, because I'm just focused on a fresh start and finding my furever family.

　　I'm great with other dogs and very friendly! I can't wait to meet you! I'm ready for endless adventures, playtime, and walks (I'm good on a leash.) and naps in my very own bed. I love other dogs and can't wait for the praise I get when I show you how prettily I sit! But first, I need to meet my new best friend. Is that you? I can't wait to meet you!

　　Adopting with High Country Humane means your pet is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. We register that microchip (free!) and provide a free health exam as well with each adoption. Please bring a leash and collar for your new pet or plan to purchase a set at the shelter for $5. The shelter is open 11-5PM, 7 days a week. We look forward to seeing you.
