Manx - Catzie - Small - Baby - Female - Cat
Catzie is a manx kitten with lots of love, energy, playfulness, charm, and purrs to give! She was saved with 6 newborn littermates, and her mom, from Animal Control because the babies were too small for adoption. They were all scheduled to be euthanized when we saw how amazing they all were. It was clear what a good mom Candi was and how her kittens were so well taken care of by her. We just couldn't leave them behind at Animal Control and managed to find room for them in our foster program.
When the babies got older, Catzie and her mom tested positive for feline leukemia. Both have been very healthy and we REALLY are trying to prevent them from going to live in the sanctuary. They are currently still in foster care in hopes that they'll go to their forever home soon. Catzie and her mom are special girls - both are manx kitties but have not ever had any medical issues because of this or because of their leukemia status. They love each other and continue to be bonded as mother and kitten. Candi still grooms her kitten and Catzie still cuddles up to mom for love. They are adorable. We would REALLY love for these special little tail-less girls to go to their own loving forever home and have a chance at living a loving, happy cat life. They are healthy and leukemia positive cats can live healthy lives for several years - sometimes even a normal lifespan. The virus is contagious, though, so they would need to be the only cats in their environment. PLEASE help us keep this precious baby and her wonderful mom out of sanctuary life and adopt them into your family!!!! Catzie has a special adoption fee of $49.00 and you can adopt both Catzie and Candi for that same special adoption fee!
