Incredible guitar built my Manuel Contreras senior in 1985. This is his top model with his innovative design called "double tapa," even though it might better be described as a "double back," with beautiful Brazilian back and sides, and a 2nd backing of cedar on the inside to create extra resonance. This guitar is in nearly pristine condition and appears to have been played very little during its 39 year life. There are two small scratches in the finish behind the bridge, but other than that no playing wear or cracks or repairs of any kind. The scale length is 664mm, with a 52mm nut width. The neck shape is rather shallow and very comfortable, so it plays very easily. String height at the 12th fret is 3.5 on the bass and 2.75 on the treble side. This guitar is very powerful, with great focus and clarity. Its sound is as elegant as its appearance. I've seen this model listed on guitar salon sites for $12K. It would be very difficult (if not impossible) to find one in this condition. Comes with the original Cebeles case, with a Contreras business card in the pocket. I have been selling guitars on Ebay for 23 years now, without a single negative or neutral rating. Domestic shipping only. I do gladly accept returns, within a week of delivery (even though the listing says, "no returns," because I don't agree to the 30-day minimum the ebay return policy requires, I feel that 7 days should be sufficient). I will be adding a video to the listing soon. Thanks for looking.
