My story

　　He’ll be the Big Apple of your eye!Taxi! Oops, I mean hello there! My name is Manhattan, but you can call me Manny. I’m a street-smart sweetheart who is sure to charm you! I’m a Corgi mix at about 3-years-old & 25-pound. I’m already neutered and other than some daily eye drops, I’m a healthy fella. When popped off the subway (from Tijuana) and arrived in sunny San Diego, I was in pretty ruff shape. I am a TVT survivor and have gotten an all clear from the vet. Now that I’ve had a taste of the good life, I’m oh so appreciative. Like a true New Yorker, I’m dreamin’ big and can’t wait for a furever home!I’m a friendly fella who gets along with pooches and people. I do great with kids, too! I’m not sure what I think about cats (although I’ve heard the show on Broadway is fantastic). I’m absolutely obsessed with playing with my ball. It’s my kryptonite! Even though I’m a little guy, I have plenty of energy and love to get out and about. I’ll gladly go on a nice long walk or hike. When we’re done, I’m a total lover boy. I’m a first-class cuddler and adore showering you with unconditional love.I’m a proper pooch who never has accidents in the house. I do well on the leash and don’t pull! Since I think you’re better than a bagel with schmear, I get some separation anxiety. I need to be in the crate when left alone, but my anxiety is getting better and better by the day. You know what they say, practice makes pawfect!Not to brag, but when we meet, we’re going to fall in love faster than a New York minute. With my puppy-dog eyes, wagging tail, and sweet disposition, I’m hard to resist! Like the hustle and bustle of the city streets, I’d do best with an active family. Getting tuckered out helps keep me calm. I think I’d do well with another dog to play with. Plenty hoomans around would make me happy, too! So what are you waiting for? Order a Manhattan today!
