Mama Socks's story

　　mama socks came into our rescue with 2 of her 5 babies when she was about 9 mos old and her babies about 2 mos. she was an amazing mama and her 2 babies were recently adopted out together. she is really still just a baby herself and adorable to watch grow and mature. she is now approximately 11 months old and ready to find her new home.

　　she is a sweet, sleek, gentle, quiet, reservedly playful gal. she sleeps in the crook of my legs every night and more recently has started sleeping on my legs. she is playful but shy and timid, occasionally getting truly playful and then almost embarrassed at being seen having so much fun. she remembers her people easily and meets me at the door when i come home and follows me to bed at night, etc. she is fearful of any new people and will hide until it sounds safe to come out.

　　she gets along very well and is quite sweet with my big gentle giant ragdoll cat (who she has grown quite used to now) but only tolerates most of the other fosters occasionally hissing at them. i think she would be happiest in a home with no other pets or at the least with a guardian who understands it will take mama time to get comfortable with other pets and new humans.
