MAMA ODIE's story
Sweet Mama Odie caught a bit of respite in a wonderful foster home this week but is looking for something long term!
Her short-term foster caregiver says:
The loud noises at PACC were overwhelming Mama Odie. She was very reluctant to walk or leave her kennel. She even put the brakes on when leaving PACC for a few days of respite in my home. Less than 48 hours at home with me, her interest in walking is so improved! She has pep in her step & interest in her surroundings.
She is amazingly sweet & craves human affection. Ive learned so much about this sweet girl in a matter of a couple days. She is housetrained. She wants to please. She knows some basic commands: Sit, Down, Leave it.
She reaches out to you with her paw to ask you to continue petting her. She is gentle with plush toys. Shes curious about cats. She has seen my cats & her attention was easily redirected back to me. My cats are used to being the boss so I didnt allow them to get close. She has been non reactive to seeing other dogs. She is inquisitive & gentle. She makes the cutest piggy grunting noises. She wants to be someones couch potato.
She is a volunteer favorite.
Please consider adopting her or fostering her. You will love her!`
