Maltese - Tic Tac - Small - Baby - Male - Dog

　　Hello my name is Tic Tac, I am located in Belen New Mexico

　　I don?t remember anything of the first six weeks of my life but here is what I do remember of the time since then.

　　One day after wandering in a neighborhood I found an inside corner of a house by the front door and curled up to take a nap. A lady gave me some food and water (she said I looked like a Tic Tac when I was curled up), I needed to rest and decided to stay in the corner out of the wind. The next day her friend came, she picked me up, wrapped me in a shirt and took me home. She gave me a bath (Grandma cuddled me until I was dry), soft food and water, then I snuggled up in her arms and fell asleep for the rest of the night. The next day I was taken to the nice man who gave me my shots, microchip and pulled cactus stickers out of my paws that were abscessed. I was still tired and rested for a couple of days, then I started playing with my new housemates, a Grandma, a mommy & daddy and 3 adult Maltese?s ages, 12yrs, 9yrs & 5yrs. The older dog ignores me but I have a great time running, bouncing & wrestling with all of the others.

　　Now 6 weeks later I am a healthy, happy and very much loved member of the household. I have a pouchy tummy, a warm bed, bedmates to sleep with at night (human and doggie), I love treats, playing with toys, going for a car ride, playing with my playmates, and being held, cuddled, loved and spoiled. My mommy takes me on errands with her, I have met a lot of different kinds of humans, everyone loves to hold & kiss me and I get to play with other dogs but not far from mommy, big dogs scare me until I get a chance to know them. Small children love to hold me and carry me around but I feel better when I am in the arms of an older person.

　　I am working on my housebreaking, breaking a light chewing habit and learning that when there is a loud noise no one is going to yell at me or chase me.

　　Today I am about 16 weeks old and I weigh a whopping 3 pounds.

　　I am very excited and can?t wait to meet my new mommy and daddy because I know the nice people at this rescue will find me only the very best home.
