My story
Energetic and loving!Hi friends! My name is Malcolm, and I’m a 1-year-old Labrador Retriever Mix male, weighing in at 43 pounds. I’ve come all the way from Tijuana to find my furever family – could you be the one? I sure hope so! I’m already neutered, and my health is in tip-top shape. Currently, I’m working on my potty-training. I have some accidents here and there, but I’m making great progress! I walk well on a leash, but I have not been crate trained yet. Here's a little more about me: I’m very friendly and social, and I love doggies and kiddos. (No kitties, please!) True to puppy form, I’m VERY energetic, and I love going on walks and playing with my toys. I also love taking a dip in the pool or ocean! One thing that I really need work on, though, is my separation anxiety. It can be pretty intense, so I’d love a family who would be willing to invest their time and energy in helping me improve in that area.Because I have so much energy, I’d love to have a yard to play in or be close to a dog park to get my zoomies out. I’d also enjoy having a doggie sibling to play with and give me company during the day. Again, my separation anxiety is a challenge for me, so I’d love to have someone who has the patience and love to help me overcome this. Do I sound like two paws up to you? My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1489512##
