My story
This guy is Makas (pronounced Mock-us, Hebrew for hope).
He showed up at a home on 1003.
They put his pictures on FaceBook, but no one claimed.
A kind person took him to the vet (SAH) and had him checked out.
He is guessed to be 7 years old, weighs 40 pounds, was already neutered but not microchipped, received vaccines on Jan 7, but sadly is Heartworm positive. His first treatment for HW is March 9, 2021 (not sure why that far out - was scheduled when the nice lady had him there).Makas is house trained, but he prefers to be outside.
He does not want to be in a kennel or a fenced area (I've tried both and he escaped from both).
He does come in at night and sleeps on a rug away from the other dogs.
He gets along fine with all the dogs and with the cats.
He does occasionally chase a cat, so I've had to correct him about that.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Makas, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
