My story

　　My name is Maisy, I'm super lovable and absolutely demand attention; if you close a door between us, I will "knock" on it to let you know that I want you to come back to give me more love! Though I do get along with other kitties, and even dogs, I unfortunately cannot be housed with any other animals; I have an illness called Mycoplasma, that's a microscopic, bacterial parasite, that gives me upper respiratory issues, including watery eyes and a snotty nose, that can, unfortunately, be passed to other animals through direct contact with my wet snot and/or saliva. Wags and Whiskers is working diligently with our veterinarian to hopefully be able to finally clear me of this uncomfortable illness, and they are absolutely refusing to give up on curing me completely; however, that is turning out to be quite the ordeal. I have been through numerous different rounds of antibiotics and medications, that help my symptoms for a short time, but have not fully cured me yet. I am looking for a home of my own, with no other pets, that is willing to continue to fight for me and my health, and doesn't mind wiping my nose now and then, and cleaning up a kitty booger here and there; in the mean time, I am very open to a foster home that fits those same requirements. Please consider coming to meet me, and opening your home to a sweet kitty like myself.
