　　Throughout this summer 2012, the Humane Society of West Alabama wants to increase my chances at finding my forever home by reducing my adoption fee! Email my rescue group or stop in to meet me!

　　The Humane Society of West Alabama's cat adoption center at 1515 Veterans Memorial Pkwy is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Appointments are available for other times with advance notice. We're all-volunteer need at least a couple of days of advance notice to schedule appointments.

　　This handsome, fuzzy guy is Linus, a young Maine Coon brown/gray tabby mix! He's vet-estimated to be under 2 years old, but at least 10 months (as of July '12). Linus has the characteristics common with Maine Coons, though we're confident he is a mix. Linus has the fluffy ear and toe tufts, the feathery plume tail, and the varying length of his fur adhering to the shape and larger body style of the Maine Coon breed. Linus also mirrors the trademark Maine Coon personality - laid-back and friendly! Linus is pretty much up for anything, very level-headed, and agreeable to most things! He doesn't fuss or complain, and doesn't seem bothered by much going on around him. And he automatically thinks all his new human friends are awesome. He truly is the perfect guy! Or the perfect new roommate! If this guy really does seem like a perfect new family member, please stop in at our cat adoption center to meet Linus!

　　Negative for FIV and FeLK, current on vaccinations and has been neutered.

　　Our adoption fee is temporarily reduced to only $50, a fee to help defray a fraction of veterinary costs and general care expenses. Our adoptable animals have routine vet visits, and are as healthy as possible as soon as they are in our care. Vet records are provided to adopters. Read up on our adoption process .
