This beautiful, lucky girl is Abigail, a (usually) long-haired Brown Tabby/Maine Coon mix with Tortoiseshell coloring. She's a female adult between 3 and 5 years of age. We pulled Abigail from our city shelter after they shared her story and knew she needed a better chance for recovery in a different environment. Poor Abigail was brought to them in pretty bad shape. Abigail had such severe matting that it was pulling at her skin every time she moved, and also caused severe skin rashes and infections that added to her problems. As severe as Abigail's condition was, she must've been in a lot of pain.
Now, Abigail's fur has grown back very well . She's gorgeous! Her fur coloring is absolutely dazzling. She has brown/black, orange and gray Tortie coloring - just beautiful flecks of color! She's gorgeous! She's a very gentle girl, but also a little independent. She's content relaxing by herself, but will ask for attention when she wants it! She does well with other cats, but would also be just as happy as an only pet. She's relaxed and feels safe in a quiet, relaxing environment. Please stop by our cat adoption center or contact us to meet Abigail!
