Maggie May's story

　　Maggie May is a perfect dog (in her foster moms eyes, anyway). Shes gorgeous, fluffy and soft, so sweet, goofy, playful and fun. Maggie is a 45 lb girl who appears to be a golden retriever mix (with maybe some Aussie judging by her ears and fluff). Shes great with dogs and cats, and would prefer to have a dog playmate in her forever home. Shes great on a leash, potty trained, and trust worthy when left alone to free roam in the house. She loves playing fetch in a fenced backyard, getting some zoomies out, and playing with her foster dog brother. What she loves even more than playing though is cuddling! Shes a very active cuddler who will jump right in your lap and nuzzle up against you while rolling around on her back asking for belly scratches. The girl loves love! She can be a little shy in new situations but warms up very quickly and has a very intense bond with her people. She is in search of a perfect forever home.

　　**Please ask for this pet's adoption fee. It is a tax-deductible donation to help pay vet bills.

　　ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.

　　Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

　　Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
