Maggie Lou's story

　　Maggie Lou is unknown age( maybe a teen) and about 20lbs. She is a Schnauzer or Scottie mix. Her hair is is straighter. She has a longer body and cute shorter legs.

　　> She seems to be a quiet girl that walks well on a leash. She is good with other dogs. When hiking, she ignores everyone we pass and enjoys the hike. She is housebroken and crate trained. She also does well left out of the crate.

　　> She gets burst of energy and likes to zoom along the furniture and around the house. Her favorite thing is burrowing in the couch cushions and hiding :) Her favorite nap spot is on the top of the couch by the window.

　　> > Walks well on a leash.

　　> She doesnt shed and her coat appears to grow in the style that we see it. Meaning no haircuts required.

　　> She isnt a barker.

　　> > Shes good with other dogs

　　> > She likes to snuggle and will ask to sit on your lap.

　　> > Older kids are just fine and I cant see why respectful younger kids would be a problem.

　　> We are currently working on basic commands like come, sit, off, down. She doesnt know any yet. She will come when we call her in the yard.

　　**Please ask for this pet's adoption fee. It is a tax-deductible donation to help pay vet bills.

　　ALL PETS FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION: including exam, MICROCHIP, spay or neuter, Heartworm test, fecal, deworm, DA2PPv, Rabies (if old enough), as well as any other medications or surgeries the pet needs.

　　Some highly adoptable dogs who will find a forever home quickly, have a higher adoption fee. These dogs leave a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extensive medical care or more time to find a loving home.

　　Return Policy: Foster homes save many lives, and as soon as one gets adopted, they often get another one. So spaces fill up fast! If you wish to return your adopted dog, please email [email protected] and be prepared to bring him/her to adoption events until a forever home is found. In some cases their previous foster can take them back. They cannot be given away, sold, or turned in to another agency. You are responsible for keeping your dog and bringing him/her to adoption events until we find a suitable home to adopt them.
