My story
02/19/22 This sweet girl is Maggie, and she was surrendered to the shelter because he previous owner was moving and could not take her with them. Maggie is a very sweet, affectionate dog that is said to do well with children, babies, cats and pocket pets. She is said to sometimes be fearful when meeting new dogs but will play with them after she warms up. Maggie's previous owner described her as being `medium energy` and said she `minds well sometimes.` She is a young dog that would enjoy long walks or a yard to securely run around in. Here at the shelter, Maggie has exhibited some anxious behavior, so potential new owners should be prepared to give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. She also has a history of getting sick in the car, which is most likely due to anxiety in new situations as well. Maggie is said to be kennel trained and housebroken. She knows basic commands such as sit and shake, but will need help learning not to jump on people and counters. If you are interested in meeting this adorable love bug, please give the shelter a call!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt MAGGIE, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
