My story

　　04/30/22 Maggie, previously known as Junebug, was surrendered back to the shelter because her previous owner did not have the time to spend with her. Maggie is a very energetic young dog that loves her people. She is said to be kennel trained but is working on potty training. She is said to know basic commands, such as sit and lay down. Maggie does need some help learning to not jump up and people, and she has scratched and gotten mouthy while playing. She would most likely benefit from a puppy training class that teaches her appropriate playing behaviors! Maggie is said to be skittish of other dogs, so any new introductions should be down slowly and in a controlled environment so she feels comfortable. It is unknown how Maggie does with other types of animals. If you are interested in meeting this little lady, please give the shelter a call!12/14/21 This little pup is Junebug. She came in with her littermates and they are now looking for their forever homes! These little ones are lab mixes and are looking for devoted owners to take them home and work on their training! They need help learning to be housebroken, basic commands, and socialization! These little ones have found their voices and love to sing to their animal tenders. They seem very people friendly and love cuddles! Just a reminder that puppies are a lot of work and a life commitment!
