My story
Visit for more information or to fill out an application.Maggie is a 5 year old Bichon who arrived to us as a retired breeding pup.
She weighs approximately 10-15 pounds and is considered full grown.Maggie is naturally shy and slow to warm up to new people.
She takes a bit to trust and realize that she is safe and she is very afraid of children under the age of 7 years.
She would love to be a companion to a family with teenagers or an older couple.
Maggie does well with other dogs and enjoys just hanging out with them.
She's not one for rough housing, but she definitely enjoys their company.
Maggie has been around cats and does just fine with them.
She would enjoy another calm pup in her forever home to help show her the ropes.
Maggie walks well on the leash and enjoys small walks.
If there is a lot of commotion (lots of walkers/dogs/etc), she does get nervous yet and seems to do better with shorter walks.
Maggie is still working on responding to commands, but she does come when called (when she trusts you) and knows how to kennel up.
Maggie is kennel trained and does pretty well at house training as long as she is given an opportunity to go outside frequently.
Ideally, Maggie would love a home who will be patient and loving with her whom already have another calm pup to show her the ropes.
She would love a fenced in yard and a home with few steps (she's scared to go down them).
Maggie has lots of love to give and can't wait to find the perfect family!Maggie has been vet checked, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and spayed.
She is current on her flea/tick/heartworm/deworming preventatives.
Maggie's adoption donation fee is $300.00
