My story

　　The princely lil guy!Why hello there, hooman! My name is Macabee. I am a 4-year-old, male, Corgi Mix weighing around 34 lbs. I was rescued by TAP from TJ, and I had found a lovely home too. But my family realized that I need to be the king of my kingdom aka need to be the only dog, and hence I am back on TAP looking for a pawmanent home. I am house/bathroom/leash trained! I can pass dogs on teh elash, but become uncomfortable if I feel cornered. I have been neutered too! Per my mama, I had a naughty habit of getting into food in the trash cans(thank u kiddos!) so I need an eye on me and on my diet. I dont have separation anxiety and can chill at home by myself.Let’s share a little bit about me! I am a super happy little guy - my tail is always wagging! I just want some love and some walkies and I’ll be a happy camper. When it comes to people, there is not a single person who I have not liked! I have so much affection in my lil heart and body and I become a shadow dog, following my pawrents around. Chasing balls, playing with stuffies, and enjoying treats are what I like! I am generally calm and come over when called.I was with doggie siblings at my home, but I tend to get protective about myself(no thanks to my past) and it starts to lead to skirmishes. Food, toys and resources are not particular triggers otherwise, just some instinct. So, I would really prefer to be the only dog of the household and would prefer hanging in my own room if doggie guests are over. Regarding kids, I would prefer older and more respectful kids to give me space. I like having them around, but boundaries are always good. I have a cat at home too, who I simply ignore!My perfect furever home would be one with love and sweetness. I am generally mellow and can do well by myself if my family has to go to work. I will do best as an only dog for everyone's betterment! I would really thrive in an environment where I am the prince of the palace and there is no threat or competition for sharing resources.
