My story
Lyla has been in foster, this is what the foster parent has to say about her: Hello! My name is Lyla and I am the sweetest pup. My foster mom calls me waggy butt because I have the wiggliest tail.
I love every human I meet and just want to be friends with everyone. My foster parents think I grew up a stray as I was very scared to live in a house.
However, I have come out of my shell and I love having treats and a warm bed to sleep on! My last foster family had cats and so I brush up on my humans like my old cat siblings to get pets and attention.
I love butt, head and ear scratches and LOVE all kinds of treats.
My favorite toys are the busy ones that give me treats! I love to play with my humans but I also love to sleep on my bed, making me the perfect adventure companion. I love to be outside and chase lizards but other than that I have a very low prey drive and could live with smaller animals (just not baby lizards).
I am a little unsure around dogs but not reactive.
With proper introduction and training, I could live with some doggy friends. When my humans leave, I do have accidents because I miss them so much but other than that I am potty trained and will give you my paw when I want to go out. I have separation anxiety and will have accidents and try to escape my crate but with a good crate and some training, I will be such a good baby.
I came to the shelter and my foster home very sick, scared and skinny, but I am the most loving girl with the biggest personality and really want some humans to give my love to! If you are interested in becoming a foster parent, please visit our website at
