My story

We are a non-profit organization and we are completely 100% volunteer run. We DO NOT have a shelter and only approved applicants can make appointments with our foster homes to meet the dogs we have.Our volunteers will not discuss dogs we have available for adoption UNTIL you have an application on file and are approved to adopt.General Notes | Maddox truly is the perfect puppy, he has all the energy and spunk of a puppy but also does amazing in his crate, sleeps through the night, and hasn't had any accidents in the house. He loves zooming around the yard, cuddling up when he's tired and loves chasing his toys when you throw them. He's catching on to training fast and has been getting desensitized to triggers that he never encountered before and has done amazing walking around stores/at breweries when people come up to pet him. He sits and lets them pet him without jumping or licking their face. He would be a great addition to any family. Want to adopt this dog?  Please do not email us.  Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP.  Personality | Maddox has lots of puppy energy but it doesn't take long until he wants to cuddle next to you for some pets and belly rubs. He can have fun on his own tossing his toys around before sitting to chew on them, but his favorite is when his people play with him and throw a toy for a game of fetch in the yard. He is a super happy puppy who is learning everything that's in this new world of his.Story | Other Dogs | He loves playing with other dogs once he's familiar with them, it can take a moment for him to take cues from other dogs but once he does he has all the energy in the world to play nonstop.Cats | UnknownChildren | Unsure, but I don't see why he'd have any problem seeing how calm he is around unfamiliar people when they bend down to pet himTraining | He's currently working on basic commands (sit, come, down) and also desentization to new things he's not familiar with. He loves to try to chase cars but as long as he knows you have a treat he'll sit when he sees one and wait.Leash | He walks great when he has a harness on, he can get distracted easily on walks but does well when we're following other dogs in front of him. He's working on ignoring other dogs as they walk by and getting desensitized to barking dogs.Activity Level | As a puppy he has lots of energy but gets tired quickly and spends a lot of time sleeping in his crate to re-energize. About an hour of walking or play and he's out for 4 hours and repeat.Health Notes | He's a healthy pup!Thank you! | Adoption Donations | Our adoption donations are $425 for dogs 8 weeks to 1 year, $375 for 1-6 years, $325 for dogs 7-10 years, and $175 for 11+ years of age. Purebred dogs regardless of age are $475. These minimum donations help to defer the costs of initial vet care, food, and supplies while in foster care that currently average over $700 per dog).Meeting Dogs | Foster dogs may have meet & greets by appointment to approved applicants only.  To become an approved applicant - please complete the application process.Please know | Available dogs are updated as soon as possible and we do our best to keep it up-to-date, but occasionally dogs shown may become unavailable without notice due to a pending adoption.We encourage you to put in an application even if you don't see your new family member currently, as once you are approved, we can place you on the waiting list for first priority on the selection of the dogs we do bring in. That means you can often meet a dog upon transport arrival and adopt before they even make it to this page!We can not guarantee that a dog you wish to adopt is available by the time your adoption application is submitted, processed, and approved.  Your application is good for 90 days from the time of approval for any dog as long as it is a good fit for your family and your lifestyle. August 27, 2023, 4:19 pm
