Luna's story

　　Meet our pretty little Luna! Luna is a 4 yr old, 14 lb blonde chihuahua mix. Luna was very scared when she first entered the shelter, but with lots of treats, patience and kindness, she started to become more curious and outgoing. Luna is still timid around new people, but once her handler lets her know they are okay she comes around quickly. Luna is very playful, sweet & obedient. She loves going for walks and playing at the dog park and beach with her foster sibling. Luna gets along great with other dogs & loves a good game of fetch or tug of war. Luna is very obedient and treat motivated & will need an experienced handler to continue to socialize her so she can continue to blossom into a happy little girl. She is very sweet & affectionate when she is comfortable & loves to cuddle on the couch with her foster dad. Luna's adoption fee is $250.

　　All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to and complete an application today!
