My story

　　Hello world, My name is Lulu! I am about 2 years old. Lean, gray with a gorgeous white apron and booties- Let’s not forget my hypnotic green eyes! I have worked through life challenges- some big scary things have happened to me, and I am a survivor who is happy to report that overcoming is my strong suit! I used to hide in small spaces and collapse, shaking when people would pick me up, hoping I could melt into corners. My Foster Moms closet was my only space for quite a while. Now her closet is like an office where I pop in only a few times a day to relax and take kitty naps. NOW, I have learned that snuggles and pets feel REALLY nice, so I like hanging out in the open with my foster fam more and commanding the snugs! I am anxious at times, due to some traumatizing past experiences. I am needing a gentle, calm family who is patient with me, willing to give me the extra time I need to adjust. I may hide for a while, but will come around with patience, kindness, and yummy smelling food! I would be very fine as an Only, but can live in the same space as other kitties, as long as It’s ok for me to drift off into my own space and hang out there, with the freedom to come out when I want. You likely wont find me snuggling with co kitties, but that’s ok. I enjoy cozy hiding places to find my balance. I am not sure if I like dogs, but don’t mind watching turtles wandering around from afar! -My idea of a perfect Friday evening- Watching Bird Videos! -Things enjoy playing with- KITTY TOYS! -I believe communication is healthy, and will sometimes tell you how I feel about the world.
