Lulu's story
*** Courtesy Listing ***
Lulu is a 2 year old, 60lb, spayed female blue nose pittie. She is up to date on vaccines. Lulu was found as a stray and taken to Contra Costa Animal Shelter. It was determined that she was raised by a homeless lady who no longer wanted to care for her, so she was put up for adoption. Never having been indoors before, the shelter was a very scary place for her and she was incredibly timid and kennel stressed. After no interest for 3 months, she was put on the euthanasia list with only a week left to live, that is when we rescued her from that fate and now has been enjoying life at her foster home in SF. Lulu frequents the dog park weekly with great recall off leash and has learned basic commands. She is House and crate trained, loves all dogs and just needs a few seconds to warm up to strangers. She has very limited experience with kids and cats. She has seem them on leash so we are unsure who she will react to them off leash. Thank you for reading about Lulu.
