Luke's story

　　Luke! Look at this boy! Hes a 70 lb, 6-7 year old, male, English Bulldog. Luke was abandoned in a shelter in CA in desperate need of medical help. His urethra and bladder were full of stones. So full, in fact, he was unable to urinate and was very, very, ill as a result. Once the surgeons started diving into Lukes needs, they noted his urethra was scarred due to so many stones. So Lukes urethra was re-routed to a new opening. This is a major surgery for any dog, much less an adult bulldog. After months of recovery, Luke is finally ready for adoption. Hes house trained, crate trained, dog friendly, and loves to be with his people. Luke does require a prescription diet to prevent the recurrence of stones and he takes daily eye drops. He is vision impaired. Lukes adoption fee is $400. Hes in foster in Littleton. His ideal home would have minimal stairs/clutter.
