My story
If you are looking for a playful, curious, affectionate cat, Luke is your guy! Luke is a shoulder cat. He loves to climb up on your shoulder and hang out there. He will grab your face with both his arms and lick you. He prefers to eat up high in his cat tower. He is playful and loves his cat toys and cat nip. He is very curious and likes to explore absolutely everything.Luke spent the first part of his life locked in a room as a kitten. Because he was not interacted with regularly he was unsocialized and would hiss. The hissing though is not from aggression but how he would express himself when he’s scared. Luke quickly learned in his foster home that people are ok and now he is learning boundaries on expressing his affection. He will still occasionally hiss if he’s surprised, scared, or feels cornered but he has not been aggressive. Luke is also still learning about what is safe to explore. Because of his inexperience and strong sense of curiosity it is recommended that he learn about the outside area while on a kitty leash, until he is comfortable with the place and knows the boundaries.Luke will need another playful cat in his household and would do well with older kids that can give him lots of attention and playtime. Luke has avoided the dogs in his foster home but may do well with a mellow dog. Luke needs to go to a home where he will never have to be locked up in a room alone again. A home where he will get lots of playtime, cuddles, and attention. We think he is about 10 months old. He's in Wasilla. Call
