I have a Ludwig club date with a 14X20 bass drum and wanted a 14X22 same color Blue Oyster to interchange. I found this bass drum from a local music store and was amazed that the finish and overall condition was in such good shape not much fade. Hoops round, finish inserts in tact, Chrome in amazing condition along with the tom rack rail looking like this drum had been in a closet stored for quite some time. In some sort of move some thing landed on this drum while it was in a case. I saw the drum in the case when I bought it. The rail was laying on the shell and appears The carriage bolt nut slammed thru the shell. I have pictures of the top of the drum and the inside damage. The Shell shows no other signs of damage or trama . Top of the bass drum their is a finish spot issue and I noticed a couple scratches that blend in with the finish on the sides where I tried to catch them in the photos, Everything appears factory, all lugs, and mounts tighten smooth nothing stripped or appear stressed. This is otherwise a beautiful bass drum. I wanted a drum match of this year, finish, condition, chrome not rusted ,other than the damage from the bolt I did not want to pay Over $1,000.00 and this fit my needs. I am back to just the 14x20 and not using this 14x22. I also bought a 9X13 tom that I used with this kit being that the club date had a 8x12. I am listing that drum in case you may have an interest.
