Lucy, a red Labrador retriever, spent the first 5 years of her life as a breeder dog. When her breeder went out of business, she was auctioned off while 4 weeks pregnant to whoever would spend the most money on her. One special person, a lover of labradors, decided to spend her own money and buy Lucy so that she could whelp one last litter and then find a home who truly valued her.

　　Lucy has since given birth to and raised 5 pups who all found wonderful homes. To ensure that Lucy finds the perfect home, her foster Mom reached out to us and asked if we could take Lucy in as an AHCR dog.

　　Lucy will not be available for a few weeks as she still needs to be spayed. Lucy is good with cats, has been good with other dogs, and loves humans. She is working on potty training and basic obedience. These are things her forever family should anticipate continuing to work on. She is a huge lover and especially enjoys giving kisses.
