My story

　　Lucky is a 6-7 year old Dachshund Mix. Lucky was dumped at a shelter in Rural Texas where there is literally no foot traffic. If a dog doesn't go to rescue it doesn't make it out. Lucky is the sweetest little thing and we knew he would find a wonderful home here in CO.Lucky has now been in CO a couple weeks and he is ready to find his forever home. He is the cutest little tri-colored Dachshund with an adorable long body, short legs, and big ears. He is 100% vetted, including a dental, and just a loving forever family to call his own. Lucky loves people, loves to give kisses, and does great with other dogs. Just like most Dachshunds, Lucky loves to burrow and snuggle. He will curl up with his foster Momma under the covers and loves to spend his time there. He wanders and adventures in her back yard, and does well on a leash. While he is for sure a snuggly, easy going dog, he does still need mental stimulation daily, just like any other dog. He will absolutely need to be allowed on the furniture with his family so he can get all the snuggles and affection he wants.
