Introducing Lubbock, or Buck as we call him. Buck is a handsome 6 year old, 42 lb shepherd mix. He is a very sweet and mellow boy who just wants to be with his human. Buck does not like to be left alone, so he will do best in a home with a companion dog and not more than four hours of humanless time a day. He has had seizures when left in boarding, possibly from the stress, and this has left him a little clumsy. He has been weaned off the seizure meds and is not having more seizures, but we hope he can avoid boarding for the rest of his life. He has a dry eye which will likely require drops for the rest of this life. Buck is house-trained, shy but calm with new people, good with respectful kids, good on a leash and in the car, not a barker, uses a doggy door, and is really really deserving of an easy life full of love. Buck sleeps at the foot of his foster mom's bed, but would love to be in bed with you. He doesn't make a peep all night, does well with other dogs (big and small), is cat friendly, likes everyone once he gets to know them, comes when called and is treat-motivated. His timid nature and plethora of scars speak to a very rough life yet this dog is sweet, loving, and goofy, and will make someone a wonderful companion. Could it be you??
