Lovey's story
Living up to her name, Lovey fell in love with her foster mom the moment they met, climbing easily onto her lap, then finding the toy box and eagerly bringing every toy over to her. The 15.5-pound creamy cutie is quiet, cuddly and sweet, plays happily on her own, especially with her toys, but can't seem to engage her senior furry foster sis in play. One of her most endearing traits is her dancing "routine"-- performed as if choreographed on her back legs whenever she goes outside and comes in. Clearly someone's pet at one time, the former stray thrives on activity and affection, but should she become anxious, her foster mom calms her with a long, soothing back rub. Crate and housetrained, she dislikes her collar and needs work on her leash skills, and while she knows no commands, being motivated by food and treats should make her easy to teach in a patient and loving fur-ever home.
