This is a 1968 Series 3 Stromberg "Super Safety" which was a name to appeal to "Nader" safety regs of the period. It meant little change, but it is rare, with only several hundred being produced in the world, far less now. A very low milage ( maybe 6000 mi) standard bore "L" block was used and rebuilt, and has original, reconditioned frame. The engine has literally hours on it. The car was registered in Ct by me so transfer to Ct Buyer is easy.
I have too many projects to finish this any time soon. My loss is your gain, if you can handle a 90% done project.
My internet research has shown the supply of these cars for sale is drying up. Generally the asking prices of cars on the market now (and you really have to look) are $26,000 -$49,900 and some have sold for more in England and Europe. I want $21,900 or best offer, and have most parts to finish. You could pay people to finish the tasks left if need be.
The types of things left are mostly rugs and interior, dash (Have one mostly finished), window, windshield and misc assembly, some lights and wiring, That type of thing.
