Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a lot of two (2) vintage French horns. The buyer will receive both instruments shown. These are single horns. Both come with cases, but there are no mouthpieces, nor any other accessories included. These are former school horns that were retired by the district that owned them. As such, they have I.D. markings engraved on the bells, and painted on the exteriors of the cases. These instruments have not been tested. They should be presumed to need work in order to be playable. Below are additional details regarding condition for each instrument. I strive to be as thorough as possible, but please understand that these are old school horns, so I can't detail every ding and scratch. Please check out the pictures carefully, and ask questions if in doubt.C. G. Conn Ltd. - There are dents, dings, pings, nicks, and flat spots throughout. I tried to capture the worst of them in the pictures. There is one spot on the bell where the metal is slightly crinkled from previous damage and repair. The rim of the bell is wavy from being bent and there is a small crack (just a couple of millimeters in length) on the edge of it. I don't see any resoldered joints. The tuning slides are all free. Compression seems good, with an audible pop when pulling the three main slides. None of the valve caps are stuck. The keys are moving freely and rebounding, although I'm sure they need some lubrication at the very least. This horn comes in a King wood shell case. It is solid, but well worn, especially on the exterior.York Artist -  There are dents, dings, pings, nicks, and flat spots throughout. The rim of the bell is in good condition. There are many resoldered joints, and frankly most of them were not done well. They tend not to line up perfectly with the original solder scars, and there is excess solder on many of them. There is a solder scar spot where it appears something is missing (thumb hook maybe?). All tuning slides are free. Compression seems decent, with an audible pop when pulling the three main slides. One of the valve caps is missing, but the other two are present and will unscrew. The keys are moving and rebounding, but not smoothly. I'm sure they need some lubrication at the very least. This one comes in a plastic shell case that is in overall good condition, except that it is missing its handle.

Please feel free to message me with any questions! Thanks again for looking!MPSlot4
