Description

THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION.  PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID.

Check out my other items!Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a lot of two King Cleveland model 606 slide trombones. These are being sold as is for parts or repair. These are former school horns that have been retired by the district that owned them. As such, they have taken their share of knocks. They might well be playable as is, but they would undoubtedly benefit from a trip to the repair tech. Below are specifics on the condition of each instrument.#1 - There are some minor dings, pings, and nicks, but no significant dents. There is a slight jog in the rim of the bell where it was bent and repaired. The tuning slide is free. It looks like one of the braces was resoldered. Also, the "U" bend of the main slide has been resoldered. It was probably removed (or maybe replaced) for dent work. The solder job isn't the prettiest. There is one little ding on the "U" bend of the main slide. The main slide seems to be operating relatively smoothly, although I'm no expert on judging this. The lacquer is well worn and scratched throughout the instrument. There is a school ID marking hand etched on the bell. This one comes in a plastic shell case that is in good condition. It shows normal light wear and tear, but no damage to the outer shell, and the interior is clean and odor free. It has an inventory number written on the exterior of the case in white permanent marker.#2 - There are some minor dings, pings, and nicks, but no significant dents. The solder job isn't the prettiest. There are a few very minor nicks present on the "U" bend of the main slide. The main slide seems to be operating relatively smoothly, although I'm no expert on judging this. The lacquer is well worn and scratched throughout the instrument. There is a school ID marking hand etched on the bell. This one comes in its original wood shell case that is in fair condition. The interior is in decent shape, but the exterior is well worn. There is some separation of the wood joints. There is no mouthpiece, nor any other accessories included with these instruments. Please feel free to message me with any questions! Thanks again for looking!MPSlot4-48(lot of 2)
