My story
Visit for more information or to fill out an application.Lola is approximately 1-1/12 year old female Jack Russell / Australian Shepherd mixed pup who arrived to rescue due to family allergies.
Lola weighs approximately 10-15 pounds and is considered full grown.Lola does okay with other dogs - she can be a bit timid with dogs initially, but warms up to them and wants to play.
She would do best with another dog who is younger and loves to play.
Lola has been around cats and does okay - she wants to play with them and will occasionally chase them, but she does well with redirection.Lola is friendly towards people and enjoys making new friends.
She is a bit hyper and rowdy at times and seems to do better with older children.
She loves to jump and needs work on manners.Lola does walk fairly well on the leash - she can be sneaky with doors and enjoys playing catch me if you can.
She would love to have a nice fenced in yard to run and play in!
She would also benefit from a basic obedience and a firm owner who challenges her brain.
She is super smart and seems treat motivated with potential of learning quickly.
She would love an active family who takes walks regularly or an older child who would enjoy getting into some 4-H activities with her.Lola appears to be house trained and hasn't had accidents in her foster home.
She is not a fan of her kennel and takes convincing to kennel up, but she does well in it.
We do recommend kenneling Lola when no one is home as she does still enjoy chewing on items and should be supervised until she outgrows and learns the correct alternatives to these puppy behaviors.Lola is vet checked, started on vaccinations, heartworm tested negative, spayed and microchipped.
She is current on her flea/tick/heartworm/deworming preventatives as well.
Lola's adoption fee is $350 to an approved home.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lola, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
