My story
Sweet Senorita Lizzie!Hola, amigos! My name is Lizzie. I’m a lovable, low-maintenance girl who is ready to make su casa es mi casa? (Or something like that). I’m a 2-year-old, 38-pound lab mix. I’m already spayed and I’m a healthy little lady! My journey to the United States took me a bit longer than a quick trip across the TJ border. I traveled all the way from Guanajuato, Mexico before I came into The Animal Pad’s care. It’s been quite the wild ride, but I’m ready for a familia of my own!I’m a super sweet, easy-going girl who doesn’t need much! I currently enjoy a nice 2.5-mile walk in the morning and then I’m happy to take a siesta for the majority of the afternoon. You can also find me chewing on my bone or a squeaky toy. Although I love getting out for a walk or chasing the ball, I’m even happier getting some cuddles and giving kisses! I’m an affectionate gal who just wants you to know how much I appreciate you.I don’t have a mean bone in my body, but I’m a bit shy around new pups and people. It took me about an hour to get comfortable in my foster home until I knew I was part of the pack! I get along well with my senior foster sibling but don’t know how well I’d do with younger dogs. I think with the proper introduction and my own timeline, I’d do well! I haven’t met any cats or kids, so I’m not sure what I think about them. I’d love to continue building my confidence with my furver fam!I’m a well-behaved girl who never causes a fuss. I’m bathroom, house, and leash trained! I’ve never been left home completely solo (my furry foster pooch has always been around), but I’ve never shown signs of any separation anxiety. Although, I’d prefer to keep you company! I sleep well in my bed or in my crate and never whine or bark. I’m a quick learner and love working on my training! If you’re looking for a snuggly sweetheart who is loyal, loving (and pretty adorable if I don’t say so myself), I’m the senorita for you! I’d be happy in a mellow home that will take me out for a bit of exercise but spends more time snuggling. So what are you waiting for? It’s been a long journey and I’m ready to settle down in a furever home with you! My adoption fee is $400 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/##1292593##
