Litespeed is the most established company in cycling when it comes to titanium. Founded in 1986 by David Lynskey in Tennessee, USA, the company has an unparalleled level of expertise and the Litespeed titanium bikes were ridden by the brightest stars in the biggest events. The great Greg Lemond for example and in 1993 Lance Armstrong won world championships on a Litespeed custom bike in team Motorola colors. Almost a decade later, in 2002, the Australian sprinter Robbie McEwen aboard his Litespeed Vortex won the green jersey by outsprinting Erik Zabel on the Champs-Élysées.Breakdown:Litespeed Vortex Road BicycleRare 6/4 Titanium Frame built by LynskeySeat tube c-t: 58 cmTop tube c-c: 58 cmCarbon Fork custom made in ItalyComplete Campagnolo Super Record 11s Titanium Carbon GroupsetVery rare and in excellent condition!Carbon Ergopower leversCrankarms 175mmTune seat clamp and headsetExtralite hubs and stemBeBop PedalsKent Eriksen titanium offset seat postSelle Italia saddleIRC Formula Pro Tubeless TiresLizard Skins handlebar tapeSo, I don't remember the rims or the spokes (maybe Sapim?) but they are freakin' light! And going tubeless back then was not common. When the bike was put together, it weighed a little less than 14 lbs. That's ridiculous for a metal framed bike! I have not ridden the bike since 2018. I just haven't had the time. I built it and put maybe 100 miles on it. Essentially, it's like a brand new bike. Please feel free to ask any questions.
