Lisa's story
"I love being near my people! Please let me cuddle with you?"
Lisa is a beautiful AKC-registered Silky Terrier with a gorgeous silver and tan coat. She was rescued from a home that could no longer take care of her, and while she is vision impaired, her hearing is impeccable and she has no problem navigating her way around, especially when there is a food bowl nearby!
Lisa's adoption fee of $100 covers her spay, DAPP and Bordetella vaccines, Rabies vaccine, PetLink Microchip with lifetime membership, heartworm test, and deworming treatments. She is a cuddle bug and loves nothing more than to be by people and get attention. She walks very well on a leash, so long as you direct her by calling to her loudly enough, and she is fully potty trained. She is well socialized with other dogs and has done great in both a daycare and a foster home setting. Lisa has several years of love still to give and would make a perfect companion for any family! Adult applicants and households with children ages 8 and above are encouraged to apply.
Unless otherwise noted, all pets adopted with our organization are spayed/neutered, fully-vaccinated, and microchipped. They are placed in wonderful foster homes (as available) while searching for their forever families. If no foster home is available, they are graciously housed and socialized at Phenom-A-Dog Daycare Boarding & Training in Rogers, Arkansas. The first step toward adoption is to fill out an application on our website, fighting4fido.org/adopt. Adoptions are decided by our board of directors based on the best interest of each pet, rather than on a first-come-first-served basis.
