Lionel's story
DOB: 5/15/12
Lionel is a handsome young kitty. He is a short-haired orange mackerel tabby, with a cute dark orange necklace that has a small white locket in the middle of his neck; his own natural cute collar. Hes a prince in the making!
Trapped as a wild, young kitten at about 9 weeks, he spent a couple years being socialized in a foster home before taking up residency at the Kitten Rescue Sanctuary. Lionel absolutely LOVES to chase the laser light, as well as play with wand toys. He is a somewhat mild-mannered young man, and though he is not a cuddly lap kitty, he does enjoy being pet and having his ears, chin, and cheeks scratched. Occasionally he will jump up on a lap and take a nap.
Lionel should do well in a somewhat quiet home, where his human family will play with him often, and engage him in their everyday activities. Lionel can be curious and is still learning the ways of a house-catand learns by example. Having a super friendly kitty friend would encourage Lionel to love on his people as the kitty friend does. Lionel tends to be very shy around new people, so it may take him a little while to learn to trust his new family. Engaging him in play would surely accelerate this trust.
Lionel is good with other kitties, though he's never really been exposed to dogs.He is neutered, current on vaccinations, has no fleas or worms, and is microchipped.
