Incredible antique Black Opal from the Lightning Ridge Mine in Australia. Approximately 60 years or older. Kaleidoscope of colors; red, blue and greens. Size 8, measures (approx) 14 x 23 and 7.6 grams. This is a large Opal set in simple but elegant handmade setting in 9 carat gold (which is also typical for antique rings of that era).
