Lightning's story

　　Have you heard the song I was walking through the park one day? Well, I was walking through the wooded area, well, I was homeless. I was hungry. I was lonely. I was looking for something, yowling, crying, looking and the lady that gave me food asked why I was crying. Well, I decided to tell her!

　　I jumped over to her, looked at the food she was offering, and wouldnt eat it. I went to smell her and she petted me! It felt so nice, so I rubbed against her leg, stood up on my back feet and begged her to pet me some more! It had been so long since someone showed me kindness.

　　When she brought me inside, there were other cats, but I didnt care! I had warmth, food and a LAP!! She picks me up and carries me around on her shoulder, I run up to her when I have a bad dream and tell her all about it. She says I am a chatty kitty. I really just have so much to share - much love, much play.

　　Human perspective:

　　I would say Lightning had been someones cat. But he has been out there for a while. He needs and loves attention, loves love. He is very tactile and will hold your hand between his paws, and sometimes will take your finger into his mouth. He does NOT bite. It is almost like he is looking for mommas teat.

　　In only a few days, Lightning has turned into an amazing house cat. He is around 2 years old, neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, chipped, vaccinated, etc. Lightning sleeps on my lap, on the bed or on a blanket next to the bed. If you are looking for an interactive feline companion, Lightning is it!
