Lhasa Apso - Dixie And Annie - Small - Senior - Female - Dog

　　Comments from one of our volunteers: ANNIE and DIXIE have visited in our home and have even spent a few nights with us. They are two of the most well mannered dogs we've ever had visit us. (And there have been many.) ANNIE is such a lady and so loving once she becomes accustomed to you. She gives sweet kisses of thanks on a regular basis. DIXIE is a ball of fire, but also knows how to chill out and just be calm EXCEPT when there is a leash involved. She gets so excited and becomes a wiggling whirlwind of joy, so attaching her leash becomes a hilarious endeavor. ANNIE loves to chase the tennis ball! She is great at catching it when it is thrown up to her. Unlike a lot of ball loving dogs, she will plop it at your feet for the next throw. She is just the dearest girl ever!!! They both love their walks and car rides. They are not barkers or chewers. It appears they could possibly be charm school graduates. These two devoted girls will enrich the lives of some lucky family. ANNIE and DIXIE are two of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet! ANNIE and DIXIE have been returned to ARF because their owner passed away unexpectedly. ANNIE and DIXIE are mature, smart and well-behaved dogs and they do not chew or have accidents in the house. ANNIE is a female Keeshond mix and weighs about 56 pounds. DIXIE is a female Lhasa Apso mix and weighs about 12 pounds. Over the years, they have been well taken care of and their medical needs have been attended to. ANNIE is a very sweet, gentle dog with a laid back personality. She is also shy until she gets to know you. DIXIE is a sweet, friendly girl and more outgoing than her sister. DIXIE is quick to greet you with the wag of her tail. DIXIE loves to sit in your lap and have her belly rubbed. Both walk well on a leash, are housetrained and get along with other dogs. They are inside dogs but do like to be outside to play and enjoy the outdoors. ANNIE and DIXIE are the best of friends and have been together for over 7 years. Because they love each other so much and have been together for so many years we feel it is best for them to be adopted together. Please consider giving them the new forever home they deserve!
