Lexie's story
Lexie is a sweet, energetic young lady. She loves to play with toys and run around the yard with them. Having been turned in by her former owners, she is confused as to why she isn't being brought back home! She wants to go out the door with you and if she gets ahead of you, will gladly wait by the car if you say, "Let's go." She was very nervous the first day I brought her home but has settled in nicely. She loves my older boys and gets so excited when they play with her. She sleeps in a crate at night, but would love to sleep on your bed or a dogbed. She has barked a few times when I leave and no one is home, but it doesn't seem to last too long. She is just trying to figure out where her forever home is....will that be with you? The best matching familyi would be home during most of the day, have the energy to play with her often, be patient as she adjusts to your home, have older children or just adults as she is still adjusting to little people and be willing to train her beyond "Sit." She is young and therefore, still very willing to please and train in new ways of behaving. She weighs in at a whopping 55 pounds, nice and light. She loves going in the car and may love a pool (I don't have one). She looks at our cat, but then leaves it alone-she had cats in her previous home.
