Lenny, what can we say that is not already evident of the neglected life he has led so far? He is only about 2 years old and was found wandering around on a country road in this condition. He was scared but eventually a good Samaritan was able to get him in her car and get him safe to the shelter where we could start the next stage of his journey. Lenny is dog friendly and while he is standoffish at first with humans he is getting better as he settles in his foster home and begins to slowly realize that his nightmare life is now behind him. Like a true Dane he is a leaner and he wants so desperately to be loved and cared for. He is gaining weight slowly as he get multiple nutritious meals a day and lots of snacks and treats to help him feel comfortable and to start on his basic commands and home living again. He is quite insecure and consequently not very trusting of people yet so he'll need someone confident to set rules and boundaries but also show him positive reinforcement as he learns he is safe now. Lenny would do best in a home without young children. As we get to know Lenny more we can update his bio..you hit the jackpot handsome and we can't wait to see you off to your forever home!
