This girl is a typical happy Yellow Labrador Retriever. Sadly for her she is too happy and while in the shelter she wagged her tail so much she got happy tail and when she arrived it was infected and had to be removed. She still has a short tail and it still wags non top. The shelter felt this girl was 6 years old but after a vet visit and input from our vet we believe she is more like 3.5-4 years of age. She is learning her manners in her foster home but she will need ongoing training and support with her new family. Leela was probably treated harshly in her first life so she thinks she is always in trouble. Needless to say she is a really good dog who just needs to learn some basic commands and rules. She is a people pleaser who adores attention from her human friends. She is also very good and non reactive around other dogs. She is a social and outgoing girl ready to say hi to new friends. She is about 70-lbs with a beautiful yellow coat and a very light amber eyes and she could easily be a Dudley Labrador. She is a fun girl who with a Labrador friendly family will blossom to a loyal and wonderful companion for life.
