My story
Leah is a 1.5 year old and 11 pound cat who is looking for her forever home. This precious girl is as gentle and sweet as can be!
She may need a little time to feel comfortable, but once she hears a familiar voice, she quickly pops out of her cozy spot to socialize! Leah definitely enjoys attention from our volunteers. Her little motor never stops and she happily rolls around on the floor while we give her love. This sweetheart will surely warm your heart with her loving personality, and she will make a wonderful new best friend. Her adoption fee has been fully sponsored by The Joe Willie Initiatives. Leah is FeLV positive. FeLV positive kitties can sometimes live normal happy lives but are at risk of developing illnesses related to this virus. They should be indoor only and receive regular vet checkups. If there are other cats in the household they should be vaccinated against this disease. As part of my adoption, my new family can receive a complimentary FELV test and initial vaccination series of the FELV vaccine for up to two resident cats in the family!I don't have a history with dogs, but may do well with them with a slow introduction.
I lived with cats in my previous home, but I may be selective!I don't have a history with kids, but I might do well with them!Adoption Process: At 9:00 am each morning a link will go live at sspca.org/cats below where you can schedule an appointment to come down to the shelter that day to meet an available animal. Animals pictured on this page may be adopted prior to your appointment time. Shelter staff will let you know when you arrive what animals are still available to be adopted and any special considerations the animal might have. Once you have finished a counsel and a meet-and-greet, you will be able to adopt! Only one animal may be met with per family, per day
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
