Laya's story

　　ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. If you find a dog you want to meet in person, please go to and complete an application. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt.

　　Laya is a beautiful girl whose mom looks like a Staffie/Boxer mix. She weighs 25 lbs and is 3 1/2 months old. Laya can be a bit bossy but gets along with all the other dogs. She loves to play. Laya is a very curious girl and very smart. The best home for her will be an active family/individual. Laya is still working on house training. She will be up to date on vaccines for her age, microchipped and spayed.

　　Laya's adoption fee is $300. A refundable training deposit of $100 will be also due upon adoption. Training must be provided in a timely fashion to ensure our pups become the best canine citizens. The training deposit will be refundable within 3 months of the adoption date for pups 4 months and older. For pups younger than 4 months, proof of training is required within 4 months of the adoption date.

　　All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to and complete an application today!
