Larry, the Female's story
Larry, yes a girl, comes to us as a rescued stray from another rescue without the resources to find her a good home in their area. Absolutely stunning girl, very friendly, who gets along great with other cats. Ready for adoption
fully vetted
currently being fostered at Evergreen Cat Lodge until a place at the EAPL Cat Adoption Center comes available. From the rescuers: Larry is a spayed female dumped with her sister when her owners moved. Shes probably 2-3 yrs. old. The sister has been adopted by neighbors and poor Larry was on her own. To survive, she kept returning to a nearby home to eat with colony cats and was trapped in a TNR effort. Upon return she would sit on the porch of the home and bang at the door to come in. The owners have several cats but they have taken her in. Shes social and enjoys being pet and sitting on laps but she is not yet comfortable being picked up, held and carried. She is still a little shy until she gets to know her caregivers. When the homeowner goes into her room to spend time with her, Larry immediately crawls up into his lap. Foster mom says Shes a love, she just needs to learn to trust again.
