My story
Laine thinks he's a lapdog, he had no idea how BIG he is and he'll literally just plop right on top of the Foster mom and dad. He's fostered with a couple of other dogs, so we know he's good with dogs, but he would bowl over smaller kids, so no home with little ones, please, we don't want him to run over them in his playfulness. He seriously thinks he's a small dog.He needs a securely fenced yard in which to run, play and potty in.Apparently he's potty trained, with only 2 accidents in the foster home when he first got there. He's crate trained and is in an XL size kennel. He gets fed in there also, as do the other dogs, as that's the safest place to feed multiple dogs in the home-in their kennels. He was so hungry from being boarded that he almost snatched the lunch right from the foster mom's hand but, once he's not so hungry, we think that'll not be an issue.Having been abandoned, he has a little fear when left alone so they leave white noise going when they leave. After about 5 minutes, he does stop howling and settle down. He's afraid he'll be left again, it seems, and that's understandable.Perhaps a family where someone is home most of the time would be ideal. Can you be Laine's hero?
