I also have adult sows that is being retired from my breeding program that are available for adoption to good pet homes (not for breeding), they are all under 2 yrs old, healthy well adjusted and socialized sweet pigs. They have done their bit on the show table and given me a few litters and now it is their turn to have a life full of only snuggles and cuddles. ask about pricing for the retired pigs as it differs from the babies..
Texel's are long curly haired guinea pigs that are known for being gentle and calm, they make great family pets that are exotic and fun to own. They do require a little extra time to groom and to make sure their hair does not get tangled, but this can be done as you are sitting with them and cuddling them. I have been asked how often your pet Texel needs to be brushed.. You can brush them as often as you like, but as long as you feel for any mats a few times a week and keep them trimmed to floor length, you don't really need to brush them. I will snip out any matts as they are starting to form, usually around the rump or backs of the legs, sometimes behind their front legs. And of course you NEVER brush a show Texel, Many of the Texel's in my Cavy are showable. I am trying to produce a beautiful satin Texel which is NOT showable but is rare and quite stunning.
Check individual prices as some animals go for less than 45.00, I sell on a first come first serve basis. Which means the first person to pay and pick up (or place a deposit to hold the animal) is the person who walks away with their new cuddly pet or show prospect.
